Hi,
Lets say that client uses serial line connection to the central office and ISDN backup call in case of serial failiure. What very often happens is that the ISDN is not functioning or has stoped functionig on the telco side but since the serial line is up the client is not aware of ISDN line failiure and therefore it has not been reported to the telco. Once the serial line fails only then the client is aware of ISDN failiure as well.
Does anyone have this problem and what is the best way of testing the backup line, in this case ISDN?
