there are a lot of possible reasons..
you should say what happens when you try to connect through console port
can you establish connection to switch?

possible reasons are:
-you have SLIP on console port enabled
-console port setting mismatch your terminal settings

Look to see if no exec is set on the console port, if it is remove it, this will give you access.

Your console port may be configured for a modem. Is there any output to your terminal emulator when you connect the console cable. If messages like ATQ0H0 appear this is the case. Try rebooting the switch and holding down the mode button. From here you can reset the console port to default.

Your output does not seem to have login setup for the console. When login is
configured under console you are prompted for a password [if one is set] whereupon you enter the console password you had configured. Otherwise it will directly take you the privileged mode prompt.
The console config should look like below:
!
line con 0
password xyz
login
!

this is what the config is right now:
line con 0
password 7 110A1016141D
login local
stopbits 1
line vty 0 4
password 7 030752180500

and this one is of the working switch
line con 0

line vty 0 4
