Hi,

If you are running code prior to 6.4(7), you may be running into CSCdx30617.

Here's the Release-note:

"Symptom

=======

Session from Supervisor to 4232-L3 module may not work after running for

a period of time.

4006> (enable) sess 2

Trying IntlgLineCard-2...

session: Unable to tunnel to IntlgLineCard-2 (57)

Reason

======

One of the reasons this happens is because of wrong adjacency in the CatOS side of arp table for

the 4232-l3's inband MAC.

Workaround

==========

1.Telnet from the supervisor to the IP Address of a sub-interface of Gig3/Gig4/Portchannel.

as session is nothing but a "telnet session"

2. A reset of L3 module could recover the problem temporarily.

3. Moving sc0 into a different vlan may prevent the problem from occurring."

This is fixed in 6.4(7), 7.6(4), and 8.3(1) and later rebuilds. If you are past the fix, try any of the listed workarounds to see if you are able to recover.

HTH,

Bobby

Hi

Thanks sir for reply, I can't tel net to the router blade because I have disabled the telnet to router by

router(config-line)#transport input none :(

so I can't access the routing blade now !!

Please HELP

WS-X4232-L3 has a console port which you console into. Check for any high CPU in the 4232-L3 blade as well.
