Hi All I need to create a internet segment on a pix for visitors to my office. I need the interface to hand out ip addresses(dhcp).problem is my pix 515 has all interfaces in use.
Can i set up 2 vlans on 1 interface and the use dhcp on the pix on one of the vlans?
I dont have a spare pix to try this out, anyone done this or can you try it for me?

Yes, you can now configure DHCP server instances per interface. Makes no difference if these are physical interfaces or logical interfaces.
Hope this helps.

Hi
For the dhcp i used:
dhcpd address 192.168.100.2-192.168.100.100 vlan2
dhcpd dns 192.168.200.3
dhcpd wins 192.168.200.3
dhcpd lease 3600
dhcpd ping_timeout 750
dhcpd domain rdigest.com
dhcp enable vlan2
For the vlans look at this link for a realy good explanation http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2120/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a0080172786.html#1113411
