IPG files are constructed in pairs. There is a “guide info” file and a “long description” file. There shall be a pair for each individual future day. The files shall be named as follows:
• Guide Info File: IPGgi##
• Long Description Files: IPGld##@
where ## is a 2-digit, zero-padded, decimal number. The number is the calendar day of the month (01..31) that the file’s contents represents.
Long Descriptions for a day may be broken up across multiple files. (See the Long Description Records section for more information.) The “@” in the Long Description file name is an alpha character ‘a’..’z’, indicating the sequence number of the long description files for that day (‘a’ is the first file, ‘b’ is the second file, etc.)
