Hi, I have received some new ap1231 with c1200-k9w7-mx.123-8jec IOS. I can't set anymore tx and rx antenna to Right(Primary) value. Do you know why?
Please take note that with the previous IOS was possible to do this.
Thanks a lot

Hi Roberto,
You are hitting this Bug;
These caveats are resolved in Cisco IOS Release 12.3(8)JEC1:
CSCsl17857
1231 access point running Cisco IOS Release 12.3(8)JEC is unable to set transmit/receive antenna options.

Hope this helps!

Rob, does this include the problem with configuring an external antenna.
With previous 1232 AP's I've not had any problems configuring a 9dBi Hawking antenna on this ap. Now when I enter the information and hit save, it takes me to a 404 page. I've attached a couple of pdf's and a txt file showing the results.
I hope this fix addresses my issue as well.
Thank,

Hi Lonny,
I don't think this bug is related to your issue as it is specific to the 1231. What exact IOS are you running so we can check this out.

FYI, I'm updating this to inform all that the software upgrade resolved my issue with configuring an external antenna as well as the TX and RX issue.
