Last night our servers were upgraded from 7.8 through the steps to get up to 7.12. Generally everything is working well, but finding that especially on Windows 7 (and 8.1) when starting sasd, it gives an error that MSVCR1230.dll is missing and to try reinstalling. Near as I can tell, that is part of the MS C++ redistributable. I've tried repairing, reinstalling, etc, but no dice. Any suggestions?
Additionally, though it is working fine on most systems, we have at least one Windows 10 system where it starts up but then all you get is a white screen where you would typically view cameras.
Suggestions appreciated. Thanks

Did you right click and "unblock" the SASD before you installed? Sometimes that can clear up issues.
Did you try re-installing the Visual C++ package or just SASD?

It turned out to be the C++ redistributable - specifically 2013. We were just installing SASD from downloading it from VSOM, and for some reason, that did not come bundled with the C++ redistrib, so it wasn't working. Took quite awhile to figure out that first day, but pushing that out to affected systems fixed them.
