Hi,
I am trying to open a support ticket with Cisco for an SMB router (RV220W) using the link:
http://tools.cisco.com/ServiceRequestTool/create/launch.do
When I reach the point when I am asked to supply the serial number of the device I do and then I get an error message that the serial number cannot be found in some database. Am I doing something wrong? Am I supposed to register this product's serial number somewhere?

Hi Mohamed,
Apparently, this tool is available only for those with an Enterprise product with a service agreement. I happen to have one for another router so I could use this tool until I specified the serial number of a SMB router and the tool quit on me!
For Small Business Products there is no such tool available and one has to use one of the methods shown at the following link:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/support/tsd_cisco_small_business_support_center_contacts.html
which are basically: online chat, phone call or this forum. I chose an online chat with a support person who decided to create a support case for my issue. So, these are the choices.
