RV340 cannot get over 90 mbps

When I do a speediest on a computer connected to a port on the RV340 I get very slow speediest results, ~90 mbps.   Looking at status and statistics I see:

LAN 1                     WAN1

100Mbps                1000Mbps

if I do not use the RV340 an connect directly to modem I get numbers ~340 Mbps.

I've searched but haven't been able to find any way to configure the LAN speed.  I have not seen a solution for this.   RV340 is connected directly to Modem

Hi,

can you ensure that your PC negotiated 1G link with router.

as you said, you cannot go beyond 100Mbps (90 - 100 practically) if your PC connected as 100Mbps with router.

sorry need a little clarification how do you ensure 1g link to pc does
directly connected to router to the lan port 1 with cat 5 cable not
sufficient?

then how is your setup Look like, do you have any device between your PC and RV router? then that could be a limitation, what device is this ?

For testing, if you connect the PC directly to the RV Ethernet port, what speed do you get ? that gives you fare idea of where the problem resides.

hi

In GUI, go to LAN/Port-Settings...ensure that LAN ports are in auto-negotiation mode and do a permanent-save and Reboot once

And as already adviced by the community members in previous posts:

- ensure that any switch you have connected between the PC and the LAN port of RV340 is a Gigabit-Ethernet switch...

- ensure that your firmware is updated to latest v1.0.03.22...
