SRP547W external ping

Am I missing something here.  I have installed a couple of SRP547W's and can't ping the external side of the ADSL interface.

Is there an option to turn on "respond to ping" and also are you able to forward to a internal IP?

Hi Mark, yes, it is a very obscure and silly wording

It is on the firewall filter -> Filter anonymous internet requests

For port forwarding you need to go to

Network Setup > NAT > Port Forwarding

Thank you Tom.

Is there any way to forward PING requests to an internal IP address, to allow for a keeplive or a check on internal machines?

Never tried, never been asked to be honest. That sounds like something you'd just have to play with.

You can use a one to one NAT for that if you want to bypass all firewall protection.
