Hi.
Does anybody knows what RV320 is? Google it, you can find firmware, quick install guide with picture, but that's all. It is not listen in Cisco Small Bussines page, no datashett , no specs (other than "dual gigabyt vpn router").
I really need faster IPSEC unit than RV042G!!,
Best regards,
Catalin

Hi.
It's odd to list firmware and quick start guide for a product and no to have datasheet or list as model in cisco website. It should be released (and listed) or unreleased (and not listed).
It's available to buy anywhere ?
Regarding RV215W, no, that not even close to RV042G (single FE WAN vs dual GBit WAN, 5 Ipsec VPN vs 100 Ipsec VPN, 5 Mbps VPN throughput vs 75 Mbps VPN throughput) while I was hopping ( and still hope) for faster than RV042G.
Best regards,
Catalin

Could be an new upgraded model that replaces the RV220 series ?
If you need fast ipsec and site-to-site performance the RV220 is a good deal. It's one of the fastes in it's line.
However with all the buggs in the RV line i switched to the ISA series and have not looked back. That is one solid work horse for sure.
Still the ISA hits a spot in upper SMB segment. The RV line hits a spot in the lower SMB segment.
And the RV220 and probably the RV320 if released i gues will hit the High end, of the low end SMB segment.
I would like to see an good replacement for the RV220 that has it's spec's and most likely better performance and still cheaper than the ISA series. I do hope it's someway spec'ed with ISA hardware and without all the security services like online virus scanning. That would be one great device for remote offices that need fast site-to-site vpn throughput.
One can only speculate since no technical data is to be found.

Is there PDF available which Open Source software is used? Regarding IPSec I'm a fan of openswan/strongswan but most implementations are racoon/kame etc.
Also is there a 4G Modem compatibility matrix like with the old SRP500?

Any comments on compatibility matrix?
Which 3G/4G modems are supported by RV320?
thanks,

Hi Rrocani,
RV320 has 3G/4G WAN connectivity via USB modem with Failover. It helps to provide connectivity when LAN fails or is not available.
Thank you.

Hi.
From datasheet this unit looks like RV042G + 2 x usb port - 25 IPsec site-to-site VPN tunnels + 10 (slow) ssl vpn tunnel + VLAN.
RV042 is relative recent unit, so i guess RV320 is no replacement for RV042G.

Catalin

Hi Catalin,
The difference between RV042 and RV320 are as follows,
1. IPSec VPN throughput of RV042 is 59Mbps, where for RV320 it is 100 Mbps.
2. PPTP VPN connection for RV042 is 5, where for RV320 it is 10.
3. Concurrent connection for RV042 is 12,000, where for RV320 it is 20,000.
Thank You.

Hi.
Ordered one unit, received, got an eye on it (not deployed yet in production) : has menu in RV220W style (sloooow) and not like RV042G (fast). After holiday will put into production environment (2-3 weeks from now).
For Rania Jareen : IPSec VPN Throughput of RV042 is 59 Mbps, yes, but RV042G is 75 Mbps. I don't think someone will but RV042 instead of RV042G.
Best regards,
Catalin

Hello all.
The RV320 is the next generation Dual WAN VPN Router. The SW is based on the RV0XX series. The RV042G was released in between to address those who wanted the RV042 with GbE ports.
The USB Modem list is here. If you do not see your modem, contact support to request a driver. We would like to support as many of the newer modem models as possible.
We are working on the next generation of RV220W - which has had a great run over the last couple of years. It will live on for a couple more.
Great comments to read over.
Thanks,
Marc

This device dosn't WIFI
If you want more details, device is on the test
