Hello,
Just a quick question
We have a 1921 which is obviously now out of support.
Our customer is now needing an extra gigabit port or two for their LAN network (both on the router are in use)
Just trying to see what module would be suitable as im getting so lost starting at all the specs for this or if new hardware would be more beneficial with that has taken over form the 1921's
Any help would be much appreciated or a point in the right direction :)

Hi there,
Take a look at the EHWIC-4ESG :

..or EHWIC-1GE-SFP-CU if you need fibre connectivity:
cheers,
Seb.

Thanks for the reply
Will pass the option of https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/interfaces-modules/high-speed-wan-interface-cards/data_sheet_c78-660124.html to them.
Is there a new alternative to the 1921 with same/similar features with multiple ports?

The EoL sheets for a device are always a great place to look:
...in your case the C1111-8P is the recommended replacement:

Seb.
