Hi, we use a 2950 VLAN switch, one of the ports is connected to our DMZ (to a regional office) on our PIX firewall. Parts of the day the pix and switch is showing high bandwidth outbound to our other office, but we have no idea what IP or IP's are doing this, can you please help me find a tool or solution that will do show us what device is taking up the bandwidth?
Thanks

have some sort of a sniffer application and see which IP is using this bw.. you have an application from sniffer tech, which can give you all these details.. it gives you the IP and the application which is eating up this bandwidth.. there can be many other sniffer applications.. just search in google and find one....
hope this helps.. all the best..

To get the traffic to ethereal, connect the system you've installed it on the 2950 switch, and enter the following config on the switch:
config t
monitor session 1
monitor session 1 source interface
monitor session 1 destination interface
end
