If there are three routers in a HSRP group, one will be active , other will be standby, what will be the state of the third - will it be also in Standby or in Speak

It will be in a listening state.

Hi ranjipremandrewp ,
For one HSRP group only one device can be in ACTIVE state and only one device will be in Standby state , Rest all devices will stay in Listening state . If any device in Active or Standby state fails , in that case the devices in listening state will change their state to Active or standby depending upon the device that went down .
