I would like to insert a 2FE2W module into a 3745 router into a vacant module slot. Are the modules hot-swappable or "OIR" Online insertion and removable capable? Please help!

Hello,
according to the data sheet (see link below), OIR is supported on the 3745:
Online Insertion and Removal-capable (3745 only)
--> Allows network modules to be swapped or serviced with minimal impact to network availability
Check this link to the data sheet and scroll down to Table 1:

Many many thanks! I looked everywhere for a document that stated it was or wasn't OIR capable but to no avail until you responded. I appreciate your help greatly and I'm grateful for your quick response.

Hi, Just want to confirm if the same applys for a 3845? I am sure this is OIR capable.
Thanks,

Yavuz,
OIR is supported on almost all NMs across 3660, 3745 and 3845
