Hi,
We have just installed 2 new 3850 switch in a stack.
Everything went fine and now I have some error logs in loop.
Jul 19 16:30:41.388 CE: %NGWC_PLATFORM_FEP-6-FRU_PS_OIR: Switch 1: FRU power supply A removed
Jul 19 16:30:41.743 CE: %NGWC_PLATFORM_FEP-6-FRU_PS_OIR: Switch 1: FRU power supply A inserted
Jul 19 16:30:41.744 CE: %NGWC_PLATFORM_FEP-6-FRU_PS_OIR: Switch 1: FRU power supply A powered on
SWR-3850-RO-SS-12#
Jul 19 16:30:46.966 CE: %NGWC_PLATFORM_FEP-6-FRU_PS_OIR: Switch 1: FRU power supply B removed
Jul 19 16:30:47.351 CE: %NGWC_PLATFORM_FEP-6-FRU_PS_OIR: Switch 1: FRU power supply B inserted
Jul 19 16:30:47.351 CE: %NGWC_PLATFORM_FEP-6-FRU_PS_OIR: Switch 1: FRU power supply B powered on
I understand this logs but I don't know am I receiving it.
I've tried to unplug and plug again the 2 power supply but I still get this messages.
I also tried to invert a power supply from switch 1 to switch 2 and I still get this message for Power supply A and B of switch 1
This meams the power supply seems to work.
So it may be a problem with switch 1
Any idea ?
Best regards,
Nicolas

Was looking at a similar issue and found
CSCug23120
The show environment power all command randomly displays a power supply failure message and displays the wattage is displayed incorrectly as 235 W.
There is no workaround.
Resolved in IOS XE Release 3.2.2SE

Hey guys,
Does anyone know where to get the all the system messages error guide that a 3850 can generate? They have the guides for all the other platforms, but I am not able to find them for the 3850.
Similar to the %NGWC_PLATFORM_FEP-6-FRU_PS_OIR above. It's just a list of all the messages that get logged on a switch like Power supply fail, or bpdu guard, or ospf errors...etc..
Thank you
