Hello,
I'm using PA-SON-OC3 on 7200VXR (NPE-G1). I want to upgrade the link to OC12 with same wavelenght. I found PA-SRP-OC12SMI for this purpose but I'm not sure about compatiblity. Please leave your comments on this topic.

Hello Ali,
PA-SRP-OC12SMI=
DPT-OC12 Single-mode intermediate port adapter
this kind of PA is used for a Cisco proprietary WAN techology SRP DPT that implements an SDH dual ring
the PA has two SDH connections and it cannot be used as a simple SDH WAN link
see
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk482/tk611/technologies_tech_note09186a008014f349.shtml
As Paolo has noted, there is no OC-12 plain SDH/Sonet PA available for C7200 see
Hope to help
Giuseppe

The 7200, no matter the NPE used, does not support SDH OC-12. You need a much faster router for that.
