Hello,
I did some search to find how switches do load balance on bundled ether-channel links. I found below link which is says for example SUP720 on 6509 has 3 bits hash size which results to 8 different bucket and this is the reason that load balancing on powered of two links works equally. And on SUP2T this value is 8 bit resulting to 256 buckets and helps a lot on load balancing over non-power of two links.

Do you know how it is on Nexus 3064 switch?
Thanks

Hello Friends I want to enable power redundancy on 6500. I know that in case of power failure in active power supply the other power supply will power the system without outage. My question is what will happen in case of input wattage decrement of active power supply? Does the power will be switched to backup power supply or 6500 will power down some modules? Imagin that wattage of backup power supply is ok. Thanks

Hi, I want to run IPv6 in our network. We have around 200K subscribers and their CPE doesn't support IPv6 mostly. Can we use NAT for this network? Which solution is the best? For CPEs which supports IPv6 I think we have to use dual stack, am I right? Thank You
