Hi guys,
I recently bought 3 877's for a DMVPN job. On upgrading the software to ADVIPServices the router stared clicking. i.e. after the upgrade a clicking noise started to comform within the router, they click every 3secs approx.
With the smae boxes i am having DMVPN issues when they are configured as spokes of the DMVPN i am getting Bad "Refcount in Datagram_Done" errors which seen to be some sort of IOS problem. i have been through a number os IOS's and they same happens with all.
Any ideas???
Regards
Stephen

Hi
I did give a try in S/W Advisor tool but it yielded nothing coz till the ISR series routers arent put in the S/W Advisor database.
As per techinical data sheet available in cisco site adv ip services feature set will help u out to get DMVPN working in your box..
http://cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps380/products_data_sheet0900aecd8028a976.html
To get rid of the both the clicking and the error i would suggest to get in touch with the support team or the vendor from where you have purchased this boxx from..

Hi,
I had this here in the UK and it was due to the ADSL interface not operating correctly. I changed the "dsl operating-mode" from auto to ansi-dmt, and the ATM interface came up and the clicking stopped.
Don't know if this applies to you in your scenario, but it worked for me.
HTH
Bill.

Hi Bill,
Wow, this seems to be a bit of an issue. I brought mine back to the disty's for replacement. I had mine configured qwith auto also.
I would not accept this. I will get my replacements. If i get an official work from cisco about this i'll post it.
Thanks
Stephen
