Adding three networks to one router

Suppose there is a new network called North that is to be added to the backbone. Given current devices, would that be feasible? If the answer is yes, explain how the current solution may be reconfigured to accommodate the change. If the answer is no, explain how an alternative solution may be implemented

you can connect new network to router (router need to have more interfaces) and configure new network IP addressings.

Insufficient information provided, to answer.  For example, what's installed in the 2811, as it supports add-on modules (I recall?)?  Or, what's the North's equipment?  What's addressing is in use and what will be needed?  Etc.

If you have a spare interface on your router then it is completely feasible. you could "mimic" the set up from east or west with obviously changing the gateways and Ip addresses to suit the new network. I assume if this is an assignment from the class the answer is most likely yes because they would want to challenge you. BUT if you do not have an addition interface on hand you could try to add a module to the router, if that is also not possible Then simply no you cannot because you have exhausted your physical resource on the router.

I can't recall if 2811 can do subinterfaces. But if it can, it is possible to add a new subinterface on one of the interfaces, and create matching vlan in the switch, and use it for "north".

BTW, I recall (?) a 2811 built-in interfaces do support subinterfaces.
