A router can use a combination of nbar and Qos to block certain type of traffic if there are any characteristcs like specific port numbers etc. You will have to sniff (wireshark) traffic and see. There are very limited options on a router to block taffic based on any layer over layer 4 in the ip stack. I think the most probable answer is no but you can certainly try.
