ASA 5550 Behind ISP Router

Hi all, recently got my hands on an ASA 5550 and I was trying to configure it as a device on my homelab network in which it would be behind a Pre-Existing NAT with a DHCP server enabled. I configured the Firewall in transparent mode but can't pass traffic from an outside interface to an inside interface, which connects to a switch distributing the connection to the rest of my homelab devices. How should I do this?

Yes I have seen this guide previously although, I do not have the switchport command, using ASA 9.17. I will post the config later when I can.
