What is the difference in using an attribute-map instead of a route-map as paramenter of the
bgp aggregate-address command?
From the "?"
attribute-map Set attributes of aggregate
route-map Set parameters of aggregate
Thanks to read.

Hello,
attribute-map and route-map are equivalent
and do the same job, so no difference whatsoever beside the name.

Friend,
Though they perform the same thing, it should be noted that the attribute-map command can only be used along with the aggregate command and it references a route-map
Whereas the route-map can be used with almost anything for implementing the routing policy.
HTH, rate if it does

Narayan,
You are correct, however original question
was about the difference between these two
commands when both used with aggregate.
And as per aggregate usage, these two are
identical.
