Boot loop after Firmware update on cisco 4300

I have recently updated a firmware on a cisco 4300, after the *reload* cmd I gave, it is looping the boot. How do I stop the boot and maintain the given update?

I should mention I also did the confreg 0x2142 then reset.

I know its a novice question.

The most common reason why IOS-XE routers are booting into ROMMON is incorrect boot variable statement due to .

Console into the router and reboot.
Post the entire boot-up process.

hi,

what was the ROMMON before and your target firmware version?

make sure to run a checksum to ensure the file is not corrupt.
