C8300 Dual Links to Core Switches

ZK916

Hello,

I wanted to know what would be the best way to link a single C8300 router to a pair of C4500 core switches which are configure in VSS. The goal is prevent a single link/single point of failure between the C8300 router and the core switches.

Thanks in advance.

yes On the switch side you can do Layer 2, on the router side you can do dot1.q encapsulation.

read the feature navigator, not looked myself totally  Cat 8300 documentation.
