Dear all,

I appreciate if you can let me know your feedback, in my opinion actually Cat3K can support limited layer 3 static routing

on Stackwise with LAN base feature right? however if I have been investigating with CCO there is following information, it is little bit complicated. it is better to know if there is such comment on CCO.

I know cisco document some time confusing - depends on how we read based on the context.

My notes, since I had some questions as you before how these are categorized.

LAN Lite:

·Entry-level

·Only bundled with small-business hardware

·Only supports Layer 2 routing

·A bare minimum of VoIP enhancement and security services

LAN Base:

·A good choice for small-to-medium sized businesses

·Enterprise access Layer 2 and Layer 3 routing

·Ingress policing, Auto QOS, and DSCP mapping.

IP Base:

·Medium-large business

·Complete access Layer 2 and Enterprise access Layer 3 routing

·Advanced quality of service (QoS), rate limiting, access control lists (ACLs),  basic static, and Routing Information Protocol (RIP) functions.

IP Services:

·Large-scale business

·Complete access Layer 2 and Complete access Layer 3 routing

·Dynamic IP routing protocols (Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), BGPv4, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP)
