ccent topics

hi guys,

I want to take the CCENT exam prior to CCNA, but I'm struggling to find what's covered in the exam.

I've found this:

I'm just puzzled, because I'm enrolled for netacad and it's basically chunked  into 4 separate modules:

Semestr 1 - Introduction to Networks

Semestr 2 - Routing and Switching Essentials

Semestr 3 - Scaling Networks

Semestr 4 - Connecting Networks

I was more then sure, that CCENT covers Semestr 1 - Introduction to Networks and Semestr 2 - Routing and Switching Essentials but looking at exam topics from the link above, I can't see single-area OSPF being covered although it's included in Semestr 2.

Hi

Basically the CCENT is the same ICND1, the CCNA exam can be taken or 1 exam or divided it into 2 exam (ICDN1 and ICDN2). Basically in this modality the topics are divided not by semester but by topics load and in this way it keeps an order. The routing protocols are delivered on the ICND2.
