Chapter 7 Section: Understanding IP routing

The topology illustrates an organization's network, consisting of the headquarters and three remote branches/offices. The organization uses a Metro Ethernet (MetroE) WAN to interconnect their branches to the headquarters. The WAN service is managed by a local Internet Service Provider (ISP). 

I'm quite new to networking. Therefore, not sure which switch to go with while creating this topology.

I believe its just the cloud icon and its supposed to "represent" an ISP. It might need frame relay configured inside, but considering that's being deprecated by exams you could just as easily put a L2 switch there and make them part of the same broadcast network. Unless you need them in different subnets for a particular reason.
