Do the Cisco 3850 series switches support MACSEC encryption on 10Gb SFP+ switch to switch or switch to router links? Is any additional cards, modules or hardware required?
I am looking at running MACSEC on some point-to-point links between 3850s and also between a 3850 and ASR 1000 routers at 10Gb.
3850 <---> 3850
3850 <---> ASR 1000

Hello Tobin,
according to documentation here
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/trustsec/configuration/guide/trustsec/appa_cat3k.html
C3850 supports TrustSec on physical ports, there is no distinction between 1G or 10G ports.
Hope to help
Giuseppe
