Hi
I'm working with a Cisco 819 4G/LTE (model C819HG-4G-G-K9) with modem Sierra MC7710
When the router attached to the UMTS mobile radio network I saw that the speed is 384000bit/s as showed below:
Cisco-819#sh run | beg line 3
line 3
script dialer lte
modem InOut
no exec
speed 384000
So the question is..Which is the speed showed from this output?
Downstream or Upstream speed (or both are same 384Kb/s)?
Thks

I am by no means an expert, but I would have to say both are 384 based on "modem InOut" and the fact that no other qualifiers are listed.

Hi mchance,
I'm not sure of that because if I switch on GSM/EDGE mobile network that output showed the tx and rx speed in different and separate values..instead when attached to UMTS network the output showed a value only as explained above
Cisco-819#sh run | beg line 3
line 3
script dialer lte
modem InOut
no exec
rxspeed 236800
txspeed 118000
Cisco-819#sh cellular 0 radio
Radio power mode = ON
Channel Number = 614
Current Band = GSM 1800
Current RSSI = -47 dBm
Radio Access Technology(RAT) Preference = GSM
Radio Access Technology(RAT) Selected = EDGE
