Cisco 857 (12.4(6)T6) %NAT: Error activating CNBAR on the interface ATM0.1?

Hi,

Standard config we use on 857's now produces:

%NAT: Error activating CNBAR on the interface ATM0.1

As soon as "ip nat outside" is enabled on the ATM0.1 Interface with the above IOS version.

FNN1610412230(config)#interface ATM0.1 point-to-point

FNN1610412230(config-subif)# bandwidth 6144

FNN1610412230(config-subif)# ip address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 255.255.255.252

FNN1610412230(config-subif)# ip nat outside

%NAT: Error activating CNBAR on the interface ATM0.1

Is this a potential bug?(As this config works without issue on earlier IOS versions)

Hi,

Yes that is Bug and you can resolve it by upgrading your IOS version 12.4(7.14)T.
