Hello,
I very often use the a couple of commands in the same order on our ios routers.
Is there any possibility to create a macro or alias which runs then several commands.
What I mean is to enter simply one alias or macro name on the cli which then runs some commands like
show interface
show interface counter
show vlan
Best Regards,
Thorsten

Hi,
if I understand the documentation of the alias command correctly you can only program a 1-to-1 alias.
What I am searching for is a macro where I can enter only one alias which then runs several commands.

Hi,
if your requirement is to run few set of commands on multiple routers. Then the best way is to use a utility called as Kiwi CAT. With this you can configure the required set of commands for mulitple devices and schedule it.
