Is there a way to copy lines of configuration commands to a remote router before applying them.
I have several new lines of config to add to various routers but will cut off my connection before being able to upload all the lines.

Hi
not really if your making changes on a remote site with only 1 link you get kicked out if your coming in over that line and making the changes to it , you can do a reload in 10 before you make the change but if you know your definitely going to kick your self out that's no use only incase you make a mistake
what I have done before is get someone locally to connect there phone to a laptop in adhoc network (wifihotspot) connect in over that, alter the vty acl to allow you come in to that new public ip address and ssh in over 3g/4g so at least then you can make changes to the main line if there's no backup in place. Bit of hassle but other than going to site or sending them the config not sure what else you could do

perhaps you could load a new config file and then perform a configure replace and point to that file when carrying out a save.
if you search configure replace you should find a document, I couldn't post a link for some reason
