I need to connect cisco 2610 to Dlink DI-524 (is a wireless router with 4 ethernet port). what kind of cable shall I use? this is the proposed setup
dsl modem-->DI-524---->cisco 2610
new to cisco. any elaborated help will be appreciated.
I have a Lynksys wireless 4port Eth connected to a 2509 using a straight through cable. I would think that a straight through cable would work for the Dlink too.
Most DSL /Cable routers like yours are switch ports. So you can use a straight through cable between your 2610 and one of the four switch ports.
