Current IOS for 7500 series router

I have a 7513 router and need to upgrade to the most current IOS version.

We do not have a service agreement and Im told by cisco pre-sales and tech support I can no longer purchase one.

Any ideas on what I can do to purchase this?

Also, what is the most current IOS released for the 7500 series router? , not sure how old my version is.

Get a smartnet for any current cisco product, and you will be able to access downloads for the 7500 also.

The latest version for the 7500 is 12.4(23), but I would recommend 12.2(25)S15.

12.2S branch is especially made for 7xxx routers and goes under additional testing, that's what SPs are using (the few thta still have 7xxx).
