Hi mates,
I have the following problem which I need your input.
We have a 1721 with 2 Ethernet and 1 fastethernet interfaces;
e0/0 - Connects to VSAT
e1/0 - connects to Remote site through wireless through local ISP.
FE - Connects to the LAN
Is it possible to have ip nat outside cmd on both e1/0 and e0/0 interfaces and have ip nat inside command FE?
If possible, what is the implication of having both? I have running into a situation where my default route cannot be changed to e0/0 even after defining it explicitly.
Thanks in advance for your help.

You sure can.
The implication depends upon applications used on these links. Some apps may have problem when the IP address is translated.

Thanks for your response. I would to know if there any parameters used to select between the two interfaces (e0/0 and e1/0) for translation .
Thanks

Can you elaborate ?
How much understanding you have regarding NAT ( grade yourself 1-10) ?

It would depend on the routing.
