I am trying to find out the effect fo using 6816-GBIC with DFC3A on a 6500 with a
WS-SUP720-3B
what will be theeffect on performance
PFC3B functionality is restricted by the DFC3A |
so what ie the effect of this what will be the benifits of DFC 3B

Hello Nareshchandra,
running in PFC3A mode means no MPLS support, so depending on the use of the node a DFC 3B may be strictly required.
