Hi all
I am using packet tracer to configure a router to be the DHCP for hosts and have two questions.
1. Do I need to use a sub interface for just one VLAN in this case VLAN 10? If not how do I do it with just one VLAN?
2. On this same network with the DHCP router does the switch port between the router and the hosts need to be set as a trunk or can I set it as access?
Thanks for any help with this

I figured it out. Something so silly too. I forgot to set the
default router
command on the sidon switch.
Thanks for looking into it for me.
Something so simple I should have saw.

1. Do I need to use a sub interface for just one VLAN in this case VLAN 10? If not how do I do it with just one VLAN?
- if you do not need more vlan, then you can have one vlan
2. On this same network with the DHCP router does the switch port between the router and the hosts need to be set as a trunk or can I set it as access?
- i leave the trunk as trun port, in case future you can add more vlans.
The below video explain the concept of how you can do it, this way you can learn as move to next level.
