We have 150 m Verzion Ethernet circuit between NY and Boston, which we experienced intermittent problems. During the outages of one hour so, the router interfaces showed up and up all the times and showed no errors when showing ip interface. But Verion claimed that they saw discarded frames from my NY routers. Also Verizon reset its equipment each time this happened and it cleared the problems.
I think it was Verizon's hardware issue. But I want to make sure that our equipment is good. Can someone tell me how to find out why Verizon saw discarded frames?
thanks,
Alison

Ask telco what mean "they see discarded frames from router". Because you only are supposed to see this kind of info.
And ask why is that they reset and fixes the problem.
You can also ask the problem to be escalated, suspend payments, etc.
