Discrepancy with space/freespace

Hello,

We have 2 routers (Cisco 4331). They are programmed exactly the same. The bootflash available space is different from one another. We have verified the bootflash has the exact same files. Can someone explain why they are different . Thanks!

There are some directory like core other folders - check that folders see any crash files stored.

I have noticed that the free space is not the same but the total bytes are the same, 100MB difference. Wondering how that it happened.

Look inside the tracelogs and core sub-directories: 

dir bootflash:core
dir bootflash:tracelogs

Delete any files with the extension of GZ but leave the "journal" files alone.
