i want to know what is the difference in the functionalty in the following type of E1 mofules:
VWIC-1MFT-E1 and NM-1CE1T1-PRI

Hi,
The module VWIC-1MFT-E1, is specific for terminating only a E1 link.
This module is limited in its capability to use every single DS0( 64 kbps) channels available in a E1.
The module NM-1CE1T1-PRI is a very flexible module in which you can either terminate a PRI line or a Channelized E1 line or a Channelized T1 line. Software configuration option will be available to select in which mode you want to use this module.
Also in this module, when using in channelized E1/T1 module, you can have more granular control on using any specific Ds0(64kbps) channel.

Hi,
No. I dont think so.
In VWIC-1MFT-E1 you can have a max of two channel groups.

Hi!
Good day! Generally, VWIC supports voice while the other does not directly support voice. Versatility is another factor, VWIC is more versatile than the other. Please see links for a more in depth description:
