Hi There is 2 units of 7206 router (ver 12.3(8)T )serving 200 connection to remote routers. Last friday I've uploaded the 2 units of Router 7206 with New IOS 12.3(14)T2 and found it takes about 10 minutes to learn the eigrp routes and established ipsec tunnel to the remote branches. During this learning and establishing process my CPU utilization reach almost 100%. Once stable the utilization went back to 10%. Today (Monday) about noon the router utilization went again 100% and found that the routers were learning again eigrp route. And the network was down more than 10 minutes. What could have caused this issue? The router never reloaded? Is there any parameter need to be set on the buffer or it's a bug?

Can you revert back to your old IOS and see if the same thing happens again ?

It's difficult to get downtime to revert back. But whenever the routers are being reloaded it takes long time to learn the new path /route, even with the old ios. But it never have been relearning the whole route process in while the routers is working fine and not reloaded.
