EIGRP Stub - still allow spoke to spoke communication

I have a DMVPN site with EIGRP named mode and need to redistribute static addresses.  I have no problem doing this by enabling EIGRP stub static and then doing a redistribute.  However, from reading it looks like this breaks spoke to spoke communication.  Is there a way I can redistribute statics from a DMVPN spoke site but still allow spoke to spoke communication.

Can you just redistribute the statics into EIGRP?

I tried, however they will not redistribute until I put in eigrp stub static.

Did you include a metric when you created the redistribution? Since you're using named mode, you'll need to make sure the redist metric takes into account the wide metrics.

I'll try the metric, I just created a route-map for distribution.

Thanks, I created a redistribute metric of  topology base
redistribute static metric 10000 100 255 1 1500 and removed the eigrp stub static.  All is working good now.
