Error on C3600

I have a C3600 that has no config on it. When I power it up I get

C3600 processor with 65536 Kbytes of main memory

Main memory is configured to 64 bit mode with parity disabled

loadprog: bad file magic number: 0x0

boot: cannot load "flash:"

System Bootstrap, Version 11.1(20)AA2, EARLY DEPLOYMENT RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

oC3600 processor with 65536 Kbytes of main memory

Main memory is configured to 64 bit mode with parity disabled

There are maybe serverl reasons cause your problem

1\ensure your flash disk (store ios) work well

2\ensure if boot command work well ,exmple :

rommon 1> dev ----list your what kind of media disks are in your router

rommon 2> dir flash: ------get your ios file name

rommon 3>boot c3660-xxx-xxx.bin

3\ if all above cannt boot your router,maybe flash disk has a hardware failure , change it

or , no ios file is in your flash disk,

if no ios file is in your flash disk ,

copy ios using tftp

copy ios using xmodem

copy ios using cf card adapter (u need to open the chassis ,find where flash disk locate)
