ERSPAN between Nexus 9K ( Source ) and Catalyst 9K ( Destination )

Hi,

I have a scenario where I have to SPAN traffic from Nexus 9K ( Source ) to Catalyst 9K ( Destination ) . As Spanning of traffic is between switches and nexus is involved it is mandatory to use ERSPAN . Please find the attached connectivity diagram..

Could you please guide on the steps required.

Good Question :

Never Come across this scenario, Technically ERSPAN all over should good, so you should not miss anything.

Since you have a requirement, good to test ERSPAN to SPAN, SPAN to ERPAN for small traffic and see if that works ( I am interested in learning here your test).  - make sure there are limitation - may not work.

If I get a chance over the weekend will do some tests
