I am creating a home lab for the CCNA Security exam and I have two Cisco 3845 routers. I have seen all the arguments for going purely virtual but I am already committed (I own the two routers and neither has the security package). So my question is...
Can you still download an evaluation security license for 3800 series routers?
Thank you

The 3845 is end of life/end of sale, but try the link below (you need a CCO login I suppose):

No dice, I get a download process error.
Not sure what a CCO login is.
I do work for a company that uses Cisco equipment and I would assume has some type of service account.
I really hope what I am asking does not appear unethical. I just would really like to work my way through the CCNA Security Lab Manual with my equipment.
Thanks again

Hi,
I am not sure that Cisco is still selling the license for this router or not but you can activate a trial version.
config t ! license accept end user agreement !Accept agreement with "Yes" ! exit ! license right-to-use move securityk9 ! config t ! license boot level securityk9 ! exit ! Wr memory ! Reload

Thanks for the help but when I accept the end user agreement I still do not have the right-to-use option after (config)#license ?
just accept, agent and call home.
Also if I do show license feature
I only have
gatekeeper
ios-ips-update
Thanks again.
