Fan Replacement Router 2801

Hello I have a doubt if it is possible to change Fans Router 2801?

I have seen some websites where people say that yes it is possible and other say that it is not possible and it is need to change the router?

Can you guys tell me which one is correct?

2801 fan cannot be replaced with official Cisco replacement part(s).  The fan assembly will need to be replaced with 3rd party and will void the warranty of the router.

The hardware manual doesn't indicate any difference between the 2801/2811 or the 2821/2851 in regard to fan replacement.

Depending on the specific model there are replacement fans available and they are very easy to replace. This requires the removal of the 3 screws to detach the top cover, then the fan are all mounted on an bracket that requires the removal of 5-6 screws on the outside of the case  then unplug the fans from the main power connectors and extract the bracket and then two screws per fan to remove and replace.
