Forgot password on Cisco Router

Hi dear value Cisco,
Is there a way to recovery password without losing configuration. I am a newbie please guide me.

Hi what is the router model. you cannot recover password if it is encrypted on config. in that case you can reset the password using below sample method (this process can have slight differences between models). using same way you can see old password if it is not encrypted.
