Getting ARP on one side while not the other

Hi,

Currently we are working on a P2P link in between London and Singapore. This is a STM4 Circuit mapped to GE port through Transmission MUX. In London we are getting the ARP of Singapore Router's GE interface but in Singapore we are not getting the ARP of London router or cannot ping the other side. By the by we are running IOS XR 4.2. Any ideas would be highly appreciable.

Hello,

please enable CDP protocol to check if there is L2 connectivity.

Hi,

Yeap we have enabled CDP too. In london Side we can see the remote device of Singapore while in SIngapore we can't.

This is actually a transmission related issue. As we had two intermittent service provider somehow they have mistaken whil configuring the Channelized circuits order. Now it's working fine.
