Dear All,

Recently we are facing high CPU at our MPLS router. I've observed that, even though the total processes cpu utilization is high but there are hardly 5 processes above 0.00% and cumulatively contributing less than 2%. We want to know what is actually causing the cpu to reach 100% and resolve this issue. I'm attaching the logs for your reference. I need your help to find the root cause and resolve the issue.

Regards,

It appears almost all your CPU is in the interrupt process, i.e. normal packet forwarding.

It also appears you're moving over 100 Mbps of traffic.

Cisco recommends the 3925 for up to 100 Mbps of WAN (i.e. duplex) traffic.

So, your usage doesn't appear very abnormal.
